It is a two-day intimate retreat, focused on the history, rituals and preparation of Nixtamal and Cacao. This immersive culinary experience is held in the garden kitchen of Casa Jacaranda Cuernavaca (one hour south of Mexico City) and within a unique milpa in the Magical Town of Tepoztlán. You will learn, cook, taste, and connect with the ingredients that shaped Mexican gastronomy.
Apart from preparing about 20 recipes, you'll explore the history, rituals, symbolism, and traditions behind nixtamal and cacao.
